I Don’t Need To Be Helped Anymore

Kojo is a 50-year-old man who lives with his wife, Nana, and his sister. A terrible road accident left him with paralysis from the waist down. He couldn’t move without assistance — his wife would take care of his daily needs, carrying him to the bathroom and other places because Kojo did not have any mobility aids.

But thanks to your generosity, Kojo received a brand-new wheelchair from WWF. The wheelchair makes it easier for Kojo to move around by himself; he can now do his daily activities more easily, moving on his own and performing tasks without any assistance from others. "I don’t need to be helped anymore," smiled Kojo with a sigh of relief as he celebrated his newfound sense of independence.

Kojo, his wife, and his sister offer "happy regards to the wheelchair supporters for providing the wheelchair, which has made things much easier for him."
